nomilk2day launches HR Consultancy
Nomilk2day, along with experienced HR Director and advisor Emiel Berg, is launching the additional new business unit HR Consultancy. For employers who want to build strong employer brands. Especially now, with the labor market and productivity under pressure and costs rising sharply.
As the labor market tightens and organizations face rising costs, the need for smart, fresh HR solutions grows. And that's exactly where connector Emiel Berg comes in. With years of HR and management experience, a good dose of entrepreneurship, and with the strong network and power of Nomilk2day behind him.
You're starting a new business unit within Nomilk2day. What exactly will you be doing?
"Nomilk2day consultants work closely with their clients and hear that they want to professionalize and be attractive employers, but they don't always have the knowledge or capacity in-house. We bring in experienced HR professionals with expertise in Agri, Food, and Industry: they understand the context, speak the same language, and can immediately add value."
HR must truly add value again. How do you approach that?
"In many places, personnel costs are rising sharply, employees stay (too) short in service, while the desired productivity growth lags behind. Then an organization comes to a crossroads: do you accept this, cut costs, or smartly invest in growth? We help organizations and HR tackle that challenge."
What do you bring concretely?
"We assist companies with themes such as talent development, leadership, culture, employment conditions, strategy, and organizational design. But also in mergers, acquisitions, or when the HR team needs reinforcement or replacement. Permanent, interim, project-based, or advisory at the executive level: we ensure that HR truly participates."
What do you see as the biggest struggle for employers?
"Ultimately, in the current labor market, the theme of employer branding and good employer brand often emerges among clients, large or small. How do I make my organization attractive to new entrants, how do I ensure that the promised employee experience within the organization is also realized (matching inside and out) to ensure that employees stay longer in this challenging labor market. This requires a thoughtful approach and often a fresh external perspective. New times call for new answers."
Who is HR Consultancy particularly interesting for?
"In principle, for all companies: for HR advice or filling temporary or permanent HR positions. Smaller and medium-sized organizations can benefit greatly in the short term. They often lack the right HR resources or expertise and understandably do not want to have this in-house. In that case, it's nice if we can step in."
You believe in 'work pleasure as a driver for growth.' Sounds nice, but does it really work that way?
"Absolutely. Work pleasure is the basis for engagement, collaboration, and performance. When employees enjoy their work, they will go that extra mile. This is evident everywhere: in the workplace, in the numbers, and in retention."
And how do you incorporate that into your own work?
"I always focus on what can be done. My glass is usually half full. I see opportunities; in people, in growth. And I carry that mindset into my advice and leadership."
