Growing together. That is the mission of Chore-Time in Ede, a small but driven organization that aims to conquer the world with innovative solutions for free-range poultry. Director Erik Verzijl sees exactly where the strength of the company lies: "Since 2004, we have been combining experience with innovation. We offer a complete package: from high-quality barn construction to excellent service, fully customized. As a small player, we are close to our customers and think outside the standard products."

Anne, you are the interim controller. What do you see as an essential skill for success?
What is the atmosphere like in the workplace?
Mirian (Office Management and Marketing): "We have an informal and approachable atmosphere. Everyone knows each other and works well together. There is room for mistakes, and openness is encouraged; we solve problems together. We often have lunch together, and on Fridays, a colleague makes fries for everyone. It's about engagement, both at work and personally."
Why should someone with a finance role consider joining you elsewhere?
