To ensure that Nomilk2day continues to grow as a specialised recruitment & executive search firm, and to help in making our agribusiness and food & industry brands leading in their own market. This ambition is an important drive for us, we love what we do and are in it to win it, game after game!
HOW DOES YOUR STORY START?
My grandfather traded fishing barges and motorbikes. He had a home office, and I often kept him company there. Looking back, I think I was already starting to feel like an entrepreneur then. After my studies I immediately started as an account manager in the international food sector with clients in industry, retail and food service. It was a fun and educational time, and I discovered that the thing I liked the most is personal contact with people. The recruitment business proved the perfect match for further personal development. After a number of beautiful and successful years at YER, I decided to take the next step with Wim van der Worp: at the start of 2015 we signed the articles of association for Nomilk2day, our very own recruitment & executive search agency.
WHAT DRIVES YOU AS A PERSON?
Qualified and committed professionals form the basis for the success of many businesses. As it happens, it is my passion to bring these two together in a competent manner, and to ensure a match that stands the test of time in my capacity as an experienced head hunter/recruiter. Contributing to the careers of top-level candidates and the success of innovative businesses as a reliable and committed recruitment/executive search consultant, is precisely what motivates me.
AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT WORK?
You'll find me spending time with my wife Karin and my son Luuk, or at the football pitch. My other passion, besides Nomilk2day is football. As a trainer/coach for amateur football on Saturdays, I just love being involved in the development of the players and teams and performing as a team. The same applies here: always wanting to win and looking for talents in people!
