ForFarmers, a leader in the European animal feed industry, is looking for a Business Development Circular & Partnership Manager. In this strategic role, you will shape the circular transition by identifying new business opportunities, setting up collaborations, and developing innovative solutions that contribute to ForFarmers' sustainability ambitions.
What are you going to do?
As Business Development Circular & Partnership Manager at ForFarmers, you will initiate and lead projects that contribute to the circular transition of raw materials. You will operate at the intersection of sustainability, procurement, innovation, and commerce, building both internal and external partnerships to realize circular ambitions. Circular raw materials play a key role in our sustainability ambitions. Within ForFarmers, these are divided into three categories:
- New raw materials, such as algae
- Upgraded and processed raw materials
- Former foodstuffs and co-products
Some great initiatives have already been launched, and in this new role, you will have the opportunity to further develop these pillars! You will identify new business opportunities and use them to guide our course. Your scope will focus on raw materials and ingredients that can be processed into our feed. The sale of moist and liquid co-products is handled by our subsidiary Van Triest CirQlar.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Identifying and developing new opportunities for circular raw materials
- Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with suppliers
- Initiating and leading projects with long-term impact
- Connecting colleagues from different countries around the theme of circularity
- Drawing up business cases
- Exploring international markets for new circular opportunities
- Guiding the implementation of ForFarmers' sustainability ambitions

Job requirements:
- Completed higher professional education or university education, preferably in animal sciences, nutrition, or supply chain management
- Demonstrable experience with business development and supplier management at a strategic level
- Insight into market developments within the food or feed sector
- Experience with drawing up business cases and decision-making processes
- Strongly developed strategic and commercial insight
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
