Nomilk2day sharpens focus: finance as a specialty

Nomilk2day expands its expertise with a strong focus on finance within agri, food, and industry. With the arrival of Nigel van Oostrum, we now also offer targeted support in finding financial professionals for key positions.

Focus on finance

With a background in business operations and a competitive spirit, Nigel has recently joined Nomilk2day as a consultant. His mission? To bring finance professionals and organizations together, focusing on both substance and personality. "Finance is about more than just numbers, it's about the right match." In this interview, Nigel explains how he shapes his role, why finance is an essential link, and what clients and candidates can expect from him.

Why is Nomilk2day now choosing to sharpen its focus on finance, and how are you implementing that?

Finance is the foundation of every organization. Everything revolves around numbers, and that's where my strength lies. With my background in business operations and my passion for finance, I aim to truly make a difference. I focus on key roles such as financial controller, business controller, plant controller, group controller, financial director, and CFO. That is my playing field. This focus requires a substantive approach: analytical skills, expertise, and of course, the right cultural fit. And that aligns with how we operate at Nomilk2day: with personal attention and expertise.

What does this mean for clients?

We aim to be a total partner. Clients no longer need to split their job vacancies among multiple agencies. They can come to us for finance as well. We combine specialized knowledge with an advisory approach and build lasting relationships. This creates trust, which is crucial in this field.

And how does this work within your team?

We truly function as a team, and that's where my background in competitive sports comes into play. Everyone has their own strengths and focus areas, and we align them well. We act swiftly, maintain clear communication, and together ensure optimal service for our clients. As we also work with organizations that operate nationally and internationally, I am available where needed to adapt and provide support.

What do you bring to the candidates?

For me, it's about genuine attention. I want to know where someone stands and what the next step in their career could be. Candidates place their trust in you, and you must earn it. My strength lies in communication and connection. I see it as my role to connect the right people.

Finally, what would you like to say to clients or candidates reading this?

Feel free to give us a call. Not for a sales pitch, but simply to get acquainted. Trust grows from such conversations. And when something comes up, you know where to find each other.
