As Plant Controller at JDE Peet's Joure, you lead the complete financial agenda of a highly complex, rapidly expanding manufacturing site. Sitting within the Management Team, you serve as trusted advisor to the Plant Director, combining deep financial expertise with operational acumen to drive performance, efficiency, and strategic value creation.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead plant control and financial management including accounting, reporting, and US GAAP compliance
- Translate operational performance into clear financial steering and actionable decision-making insights
- Drive cost optimization, material productivity, and efficiency improvements across production streams
- Own product costing, pricing analysis, and margin improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop a team of controllers, fostering financial excellence and continuous growth
- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to strengthen cross-functional alignment
- Manage Capex and engineering projects including validation, ROI analysis, and performance tracking
- Contribute to plant strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term value creation planning

Job requirements:
- Minimum five years experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environments
- Proven track record as Plant Controller, Financial Controller, or Finance Manager in factory settings
- Strong expertise in product costing, cost price optimization, and Capex management
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with SAP in manufacturing environments
- Fluent in English, with Dutch language skills as a strong advantage
