Collie builds technology that enables farmers to move their herd with just a few taps on their screen using a collar and an app. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for interested farmers, turning curiosity into conversations, demos, and well-prepared handovers to Account Executives.
Wat ga je doen?
As a Sales Development Representative at Collie, you will be the first point of contact for farmers who have shown interest or are a strong fit for the target profile. Working with inbound leads and targeted outbound lists, you will assess whether there is a concrete match and schedule demos, webinars, or farm visits accordingly. By collaborating closely with Marketing and Account Executives, you will ensure that warm prospects are handed over with full context.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Contact farmers who have reached out or fit the target profile
- Follow up on inbound leads by phone, email, or WhatsApp
- Work through targeted outbound lists and directly call suitable farmers
- Qualify farmers based on herd size, current working methods, needs, timing, and decision-making authority
- Schedule demos, webinars, demo days, and farm visits
- Nurture interested farmers who are not yet ready to take the next step
- Hand over well-qualified prospects to Account Executives with full context
- Keep Monday.com up to date and provide Marketing with honest feedback on leads and campaigns
In this role, you will report to the Sales Lead.

Kandidaat profiel
A strong candidate will feel comfortable speaking with farmers, communicate in a practical and trustworthy manner, and follow up consistently and systematically. Warmth on the phone, persistence, and independence are essential, as is a willingness to thoroughly understand both the product and the day-to-day realities of farm operations.
Requirements:
- Fluent or native Dutch
- Fluent English, as this is the company’s working language
- Based in the Netherlands and within commuting distance of the Amsterdam office
- Comfortable working with a CRM and following a structured follow-up process
- Able to have practical conversations with farmers about their situation and needs
- Willing to spend two to three weeks working alongside the operations team on farms when starting the role
- Some initial experience in sales, inside sales, lead generation, or another phone-intensive role
