Site Director

As Site Director at Mead Johnson Nutrition, you guide the Nijmegen manufacturing site and translate the supply direction into day-to-day factory performance. The focus lies on quality, safety, compliance, operational performance and reliable customer delivery. This role works closely with regional and global teams to ensure alignment on planning, quality expectations, regulatory compliance, and best-practice sharing. The position is part of the Health Supply Leadership Team and leads the Factory Leadership Team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Leading the Health manufacturing site, including Engineering, Facilities, Supply Excellence and Manufacturing Operations
• Safeguarding service, safety, quality, innovation and return on capital
• Providing financial counsel within the local leadership team
• Managing inventory in line with area parameters
• Delivering capital expenditure on time and within budget
• Overseeing talent development, training and recruiting for the supply function
• Aligning product flow to customers for new item introductions, promotional activity and custom manufacturing demand
• Connecting the factory with regional and global supply teams

Requirements:

• Completed university degree at MSc level in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Process Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment
• Extensive knowledge of food safety systems, quality management and manufacturing processes in a highly regulated food production environment
• Proven experience with HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 and applicable regulations relating to infant nutrition and baby food manufacturing
• Experience in leading geographically spread virtual teams
• Ability to influence people at all levels, from production to CEO
• Flexibility to travel globally and work on short assignments when required
